So, today was pretty good ^_^ I got my sociology essay back and the comment I got for it was pretty rewarding. So I'm fairly pleased with that. Also spent a while hanging around in Gamestation watching these two guys take it in turns to play Guitar Hero on the demo TV. They had Sonic Jam and Sonic R in the display case, and I spent a while just staring at those, too ^^; Then I saw... the t-shirts o.o THREE retro-style Sonic t-shirts, £9.99 each, the same ones I saw on eBay a while back that Jei tried to get for me but got outbid on. I saw them and I was like "WHOA!!!" and I grabbed all three and made the guy at the counter keep them for me XD Then I called my mom and somehow arranged for her to get them for me on her way home from work, but I can't have them 'til Xmas n.n;; Oh well, I can wait. I'm glad my mom decided she can afford £30 on a gift for me ^_^ I wouldn't have insisted if she thought it was too much. So at least I'll have something to open on Christmas Day, even if it's not much. I'm gonna try to sell some old games and get in a little cash so I can buy something for her, too n.n
So yeah, that's about the gist of it. Spent the rest of the afternoon making phone-calls, because no one ever calls back when they say they will :P And tomorrow I have to explain to the washing machine guy why there's two screws missing from the door-lock n.n; (My mom tried to take the lock apart, then couldn't fit it back together x.o). Could be worse :P
