Well that's it and it's over. England is out of the World Cup, after conceding to Portugal over... penalties. I HATE when matches have to be determined by penalties. But I suppose we fared well enough not to concede any goals during the match, even with Beckham injured and Rooney red-carded (eejit! x.x). But still, lousy overall performance. I'm not much impressed at all. And so... down will come all the England flags flying from windows and car wing mirrors. England merchandise will disappear from shop windows. Airhorns and noisemakers stored away until next big soccer event. Life will go on. As so it should :P
