The job interview actually went really well. The guy who interviewed me wasn't the guy who was supposed to be interviewing me (last minute change), but I'm so glad he did because he was really nice. The whole company seems really nice and the building is all new looking glass and metal... muuuuch better than the last call-centre I worked in. I had to answer a bunch of scenario-based questions and then complete a written assessment, and then he pretty much immediately offered me the job ♥ He said that I interviewed really well, which was a nice boost to my flagging ego, and that he'd like to have me on his campaign team (: So I, uh... start on Monday.
I am super-duper fantabulously nervous. Hoo-boy. Today and tomorrow are my last week-days of summer vacation. I found out that I get my birthday off as an extra paid day on top of the 20 days allowance, though, which is awesome as that is coming up kinda fast (mid-October). Eep. Monday start. Erk.
Jei's not around right now as she had to meet friends in town. Pre-arranged, so not her fault... but I miss her. Hope she'll be back soon so we can just do some nice fun chill stuff for the rest of today and tomorrow.
I wish Miles didn't have to be in such a sarcastic and bitchy mood right now. I have reasons to be happy, dammit, AND proud of myself. He ain't gonna ruin mah mood tho'.
To be honest I really don't get him at all. I've never known someone so temperamental. He seems to have little triggers that set him off, and I managed to set off one last night with something really stupid. Just one little comment x.o I mean, sometimes we almost sorta get along and he can even be fairly cordial and companionable. Then suddenly he's sharply acerbic, sarcastic and angry, like he can't stand me, loathes me with all of his being. Seriously, if I have a split personality, then my split personality has a split personality. Scourge says he's used to it and that Miles just needs to pull the tampon out and stop PMSing, lmao. Obviously Scourge is not helpful. Scourge also just wants to eat meat and drink ale, which is fine by me... except for the small fact that we (Jei and I) are not eating meat at the moment and I'm trying not to drink so much. Miles is fine to have around with the whole diet thing as he's a junk food Nazi and won't touch anything fattening or unhealthy. I think Scourge's eating habits have disgusted him into hardly eating anything himself ^^; But... helpful as that could be, he'd just live on vodka if we let him. [Also, he needs to learn that Tetris is just a game and not some sort of really-important-test 'cause yeah...] But yeah, main point is that he's in a BAD mood for whatever god-forsaken reason and last night almost punched a hole through my computer screen, the jerk (not Tetris related, rofl). And then when he's pissy, he won't sleep in the same bed as Jei/Sonic and so, whee, I end up spending the night on the couch as the only way to get some shut-eye. I've never known someone so moody and changeable :\ I kinda even like Miles when he's in one of his mellow easygoing and charming moods. But when he's in a pissy mood I just feel like I'm totally under siege no matter what I do and there's just no pleasing him. I imagine it's a lot the same for anyone living with soulbonds/muses though... guess it's not so much different from living with a temperamental flat-mate. I just can't win. Even when I think we're getting along a bit better, it all changes in the space of 0.5 seconds. Ffff.
Anyway, yeah, Flyboy has a job now! Kinda looking forward to it... kinda nervous. Well, VERY. I love how they have a £1 mufty day every Friday where all the money goes to charity ♥ So basically now I am a "Business Development Agent", yeeeeahhh!! This is the best-paid job I have ever had, so here's hoping I do well at it!

We have a board game version of Tetris (almost identical to the video game, just with a plastic board and real blocks) which Jei and I play sometimes and one time she challenged Miles to a game (which he won) and he just decided he... likes Tetris. So naturally when I was playing it online as I occasionally do, he decided that he wanted a go, and then he kinda got hooked and obsessed with beating all my scores and having the best strategy and I don't even know. I think he's just bored and doesn't have enough actual real challenge in his life maybe? But he gets so 'RRRRR' about it, it's almost scary. It's just a game ;_;
