flyboy_foxWow, how long has it been since I last updated? ^^; About two weeks, I think? I've had so much to say, but every time I sit down to type it all up I get weighed down by how much there is to write about and give up XD Then by next time, there's even MORE and yeah.
So I guess I'll just do a brief... update thing, and then maybe expand on some of the points individually in separate posts another time ^^;
- Jei is home! Yay! I missed her soooo much and it's great to be sitting here typing this with her sitting at her laptop right next to me ^^ We're at my mum's house in Weston-super-Mare until Friday, when we're heading back to Bournemouth. There's an airshow in Bournemouth this weekend, so gotta be back for that!
- SoS '10. This was amazing but also exhausting and somewhat stressful! Made around £800 from selling comics and cels though, which at least sorts out next month's rent OR pays off my credit card (which I used for last month's rest @_@). I wore my Tails ears and tails all day :3 And I met a TON of people from =SSMB= and a few from LJ too (like Shadowdingo, AndySquirrel and Bottlemilk! ♥). T-Bird gifted me an Archie art page AND a bottle of cognac, which was pretty damn awesome of him, and I got a staff award for three years' service, woo! God, I was tired though... more on SoS later!
- Turns out Miles CAN front in person, pretty damn easily. He actually... seems to get on all right with Sonic/Jei, but he's a total loose cannon when Scourge is about (as is Scourge with him). We both have the marks/bruises to prove it >_>;; I think we've got things under control though (sort of?). It's... yeah. Also, having him front physically makes me notice how different he and I really are with how we act and see the world ^^; And how he can do stuff that I can't do, or isn't afraid of the things I'm afraid of. But vice-versa, too. It's... interesting. Deserves a post of its own, really.
- Glowsticks = love. Jei brought SO many of them back from America, along with fluorescent body paint, and along with my blacklight and some fibre-optics gadgets, we had THE most awesome bedroom rave party EVER ♥
- My mum invested some moneys into a doll-making business plan Jei and I have, so now we're really keen to get this idea off the ground. Especially now that Volks no longer make any of their small BJD bodies any more (we bought out their remaining stock, oh-ho-ho). It's actually really exciting and I hope it takes off! Definitely gonna make a post aaaall about it in a bit. Also, we desperately need a sewing machine, even if it's an old or reconditioned one, so if anyone knows of anyone who has one that they're willing to donate or sell at a reasonable price, please let us know? (:
- SecondLife. I got sucked into it again with Jei, and my character Miles Calamity (loosely based on Tails) had a bit of a drastic makeover *cough*. I joined '| The Next Day |' as a 'Criminal | Hacker' and I'm just getting to grips with the CCS system for combat. It's pretty damned cool.
- I get to see Fox (my kitteh ♥) again. He's the best kitty ever! Miles seems to not mind him/sorta likes him too, which is a relief. He'll only call him 'Cat' though, in a disparaging manner, like he doesn't deserve a name :P I don't think Fox minds though and I think Miles only does it to hide that he likes his company XD;
Um... guess that about sums most of it up for now. Gotta go to the Citizens' Advice Bureau tomorrow morning to find out if we can get any help with our rent payments etc, as even with the £800 I made, we're still very much in debt. So, bed now I think! Goodnight LJ!

Thanks XD At least that bit of money means I won't default on my payment this month... It's the next couple of months until Jei gets her student loan in that are worrying me. Hopefully I'll get a job by then.

They're from the unsettling manga Byakuya Zaushi, a group of one-shot stories that all (save for one, thank God) have grim endings.
The art is quite pretty.
