Evil twins and telemarketing~

flyboy_foxWow, I haven't updated in forever... When was the last time, anyway? *Checks* Over a week ago. Huh.
Aaanyway... I had a job interview yesterday. I had already passed the phone interview and they called me in for a face-to-face meeting. It was only then that I found out that the job is essentially cold-calling. Satellite repairs warranties. And now I'm torn, because I really really do need a job and some money (financial crisis arrgggh!) but at the same time I have deep ethical issues with doing a job that bothers people all afternoon and tries to get them to buy shit they really don't need. I know that I hate telephone salespeople, and I really don't particularly want to BE one. So torn. The interview went well, I thought, and I'll find out Monday if I got the job. Given the high turnover rate in call centres like this, and the fact that they're constantly recruiting, I think there's a good chance they'll hire me (i.e. they'll hire anyone with even a modicum of intelligence and a passable grasp of the English language). If they do, what do I say? How do I balance my rather desperate need for money against my moral objections to such an insidious job? ^^; Oh woe.
In other news, I'm... still... really into Scourge and the Suppression Squad right now XD;; I'd really love to see him back in Archie eventually, even though I know he's doing his time in the No Zone right now. Can't hold him forever, right? I'd also really like to see what the rest of the Suppression Squad are up to and what their plans to "make Mobius pay for our collective embarrassment" entail. Come on... please? Haha, I feel almost guilty for how much I love Scourge and Miles right now XD Especially given that I really resented some of the stuff that happened with the regular cast during the issues in the 190s. But Scourge and Miles were such good characters and I've said before how much they intrigue me ^^; Plus they're just badass. Can't go wrong there. Scourge, and particularly Super Scourge, is the KING of badass. Mrrr.
Wah, I still love Sonic best of all, of course! Nothing will ever EVER change that. I'm just having a bit of a fan-spazz over Scourge n' co right now n.n;; Well really, I only care about Scourge and Miles, 'cause the other SS members are really kinda... bland. Alisha's alright, she's spunky at least. I don't really care for Patch or Boomer. And, well, you know how I feel about Fi XD;;
I wanna see Scourge break out of jail and confront Miles for leading the mutiny against him >_> He'd flatten Miles, of course. But it would be fun. I love when Scourge gets on one of his power kick tirades.
"You know what? Forget ruling Mobius OR Moebius. I'm Super Scourge. I'll spindash both planets in half BECAUSE I CAN. And then I'll keep stomping on planets until I find one that gives me the respect I deserve-- Hey, I'M TALKING TO YOU!" (#196 while he's Super and beating down Sonic)
Haha, oh Scourge, stay classy and don't ever change (: Also the panel where everyone is piling on top of him to keep him down and he just throws them all off and scatters them like it's nothing. "YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!!". He's so blatantly over-the-top it's hilarious and I love it ♥
Oh my posts are so boring lately x.x It's no wonder I never update any more. Oh well XD;
