Foreign politics just so happen to be a favorite subject of mine. Look me up if you want to know more. I've been very interested in this race, and I'm practically glued to BBC World Service radio right now. ;3 You can stream it live from here; there is lots of election news all the time: http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/
I am very strongly considering voting Liberal Democrats here, I will be honest. Their policies appeal to me much more than Conservative and Labour's do. ^^;;
Election times like this are just amazing though. Here in Torfaen, the main runners for the seat are Paul Murphy of Labour, and an Independent Councillor called Fred Wildgust.
The awesome thing is: all the Paul Murphy supporters are using pre-made adverts, that have the same design, and the same message. On the other hand, every Wildgust supporter has put time and effort into making their own advertisement, and the amount of variety I see advertising his campaigns is amazing. Near New Inn, there's a great big sign that sticks out that says "Think Wildgust". There's another one near the street I live which asks the Labour MP "Your expenses may be legal, but are they moral?"
Torfaen is usually one of Labour's safer seats, from what I can tell, but I've never seen Paul Murphy in my life. I saw Wildgust yesterday on the way home from work, out walking his dog. Hehe. XD
Can't wait for next Thursday. My polling station is my old primary school. :P
