flyboy_foxSo... starting issue #17 in Sonic Universe is a Tails mini-series for 4 issues. Archie staff did mention it was likely for this year in late '09, so I'm not really very surprised. But I did have to laugh a little when it got brought up in the Archie Sonic thread on =SSMB= and the person who mentioned it followed with "Flyboy will be pleased!" XD; I followed this by amending my forum sig to add "A Tails is fine too. But Sonic is my favourite. Just so you know (; ♥((( Sonic )))♥" :P Because (for obvious reasons), everyone on =SSMB= thinks I'm OMG TAYULZ #1 FAN!!!111 Ahahaha. It's okay.
HOWEVER. This is still awesome news and I am happy. 'Bout time Tails had another mini-series. I just hope it won't be some lame spin-off adventure with him going off by himself and falling in love with some lame girl who it won't ever work out with (***coughcoughROBO!FIONA(alsoDownundaBarbie)coughcough***) and/or introducing another underdeveloped group of Freedom Fighters (***coughcoughDOWNUNDA!FFscoughcough***) like Tails' last solo outings. Actually, what I REALLY want is for Sonic to be around and for the two of them to get some quality interaction. But I have a feeling they'll send Tails off somewhere without Sonic because heck he can't get any character development when he's in Sawnik's shadow, riiiiite? >____>;;;;
Pff. Well. Anyway. "The Tails Adventure". Lol. It sounds so clumsy that I can only imagine it HAS to be a 'Tails Adventure' tie-in. In which case... buhhhh. Tails Adventure was a good game, but this was how long ago now? And that frog in high heels scares me D:
You gotta forgive me for all my keyboard smashing, ehhhh. I haven't slept properly in around 4 days now. Last night I did manage to get to bed at almost 5am... only to wake up at 8.15am unable to sleep any more ^^; And this is after that 48 hour straight marathon. I've had about 7 cups of tea today and a large quantity of dark chocolate. I think I'm existing on caffeine and sugar right now, w00t!
Also FFFFFFF dammit. Erasure - Always (aka the Robot Unicorn Attack theme) somehow became Scourge/Miles' official crack soundtrack during a few late-night drunken role-play sessions. And it won't go out of my heeeeaaaad ;______;
ETA: Tristan needs to FUCK OFF. Calling one of =SSMB='s best staffers (and a good personal friend of mine)'s M.E. a "fake illness" is one step TOO far. You run a shitty site that everyone hates and that even SEGA and Sumo want shut down, and you think you can personally attack our reporters like that and get away with it? Your ass is mine, foo'.

Tails just REALLY doesn't seem the type and yet they do it over and over! Didn't you say a little while ago they plan on doing it again in some future issue? Was that in the mini series or no? Aaanyway, yeah... that combined with the whole "Tails can't be awesome in his own right unless he's away from Sonic" stigma would make the whole thing a disappointment.. n.n; then we might be pleasantly surprised... guess we won't know til it comes out. THAT SAID... any excuse to see Tails lots is fine by me ;D
I can't believe our brains and that silly song XD Scourge and Miles... ooooh dear. It's epic. Whether it's epic win or fail, who knows and who cares?? XD

Date: 2010-03-19 08:40 pm (UTC)I dunno... someone said that Tails seemed like he's got a little crush on Li Moon in the latest issue (SU #13 I think?), so... uggghhh... hopefully nothing will follow on from that x.x We should have the solicits for the latest revealed issues soon so I guess we'll know then. I wonder if it'll flow alongside the main story and so Tails will be out of the main comics during those 4 issues? D: That would kind of suck and would pretty much ensure that Sonic and Tails wouldn't cross paths, since I can't imagine that Sonic will be outside of the main comics for long despite being away now with Sally, Tails and Khan.
Bah, speculation. Just gotta wait for the info I guess.
