Sonic, Tails and Link vs Ninja clan!

Dressing up as Sonic, Tails and Link for Hallowe'en was epic! I'll just paste what I already wrote about the night over at =SSMB= XD

"It was pretty epic, actually! People loved my girlfriend's costume and mine (we went as Sonic and Tails), and we were accompanied by her friend Ce who dressed as Hyrule's Link, plus we had an entourage of three ninjas (Ce's flatmates and a guy called Simon from my Uni). Basically, we spent much of the night messing around fighting with the ninjas over our power rings and chaos emeralds XD

Highlights for me included this conversation with a hilariously bitchy (part of her act) drag queen DJ at a gay bar:

DJ: Who are you supposed to be? Fantastic Mr. Fox?
Me: *LOL* ...no.
DJ: You look like something out of Pokemon.
Random guy: Pikachu!
DJ: Well what the hell are you, then?
The WHOLE nightclub: TAILS! *Duh*
DJ: ... oh. Are you sure you're not just a giant pussy with two tails? Mmm, can you imagine what you could do with those tails? It'd be like *explicit demonstration*
Me: O_o *Hides behind 'Sonic'*

Haaah, I love the Branksome XD BEST. GAY BAR. EVER.

Also, the smoke machines were AWESOME. Every time smoke came out, the ninjas would hide in it and try to steal our power rings and chaos emerald XD

Several people asked for pics with us, and we got loads of compliments on our costumes, or random people making Sonic sound effects XD

Oh, good times, good times.

Except that the phrase of the evening was "Tails is an alcoholic!" because I finished my drinks first and kept trying to steal everyone else's >_>;;"

The costumes that you and Jei were wearing look like they were made with great care, though I expected no less.

I like how the Power Rings are gold colored(Instead of just yellow) and actually shine, too.

Your costume has something oddly...cozy about it. Like a cute pair of pyjamas. I don't know if that's how you felt about it, though.XD Adorable all the same, though.

I kind of like how you and Jei are posed too, heh. Jei kind of looks like she's challenging the camera person, while you look like you're happy, but a bit shy as you make your greeting. Feels oddly approriate.

I don't know whose idea was it for the color of your outfit, but kudos to you guys for going with Orange Tails, gives it more of a "classic" feel, and I quite like that, even though I also like the post Sonic Adventure stuff.^^

What's up with that green thing going through Jei's ears, though? It kind of looks like someone shot her in the head with an arrow.^_^;;

I agree that the DJ conversation was hilarious.XD I'd love to be able to attract that kind of attention some day.

I personally would not say that being called an alcoholic in this context would a negative.^_^ It just means that you allowed yourself to let loose and be the "life of the party." As long as no one got hurt, it's all good.^_^

I chose the orange because Tails is a red fox, and red foxes are orange (oddly enough :P) not yellow. I always preferred that colour scheme ^^

The green thing is a glowstick (she's holding one, too). She was just being very silly by putting it under her headband XD;

Yeah, no one got insanely drunk or anything... just enough to loosen up and have fun and be silly together. 'Tis all good!

I always liked how Tails was kind of just a normal colour for his species. He's different because he has two tails, yet he's also very normal looking and recognisable as a red fox. It's a unique blend of being very normal and unspectacular, and then - wow - he has two tails! XD;;

That's a good point! Come to think of it, I always did think Tails looked the most like a real animal out of all the characters who originated from the games. Most of them have wild fur colors and look like they're made of rubber.XD
