Just a quick note to say that I absconded to America for a couple weeks, so I won't be around much until the 18th or so. That is to say, a couple days ago I got bored of waiting around for this visa thing to resolve, so I went to the airport at 4am on the off-chance that there'd be seats left on a flight that day if I waited around long enough... and there was. So, I basically showed up at Jei's house unannounced and was like "hi". :P Craziest thing I've ever done, but whee!

Also, on the same day, I proposed to her with the white gold, diamond and tanzamite ring I'd intended to give to her at Summer of Sonic... and she said yes of course :) She loved it.
