How is babby formed.

I know that we can't biologically have children together (yet!), but I can't help wondering what it would be like if Jei and I had a kid. We'll probably adopt one day. There's no rush... we should get our degrees and some good solid jobs first. We have plenty of years ahead. But I can't help thinking about it and grinning. One day when we're ready :)

I know kids can be a handful. My mum owned and ran a nursery for 16 years and I helped out there a lot (but of course, raising a kid is a different kettle of fish altogether). It can be hard work, but it's also incredibly fulfilling. I'd love to do that one day with a kid of our own. I know neither of us is ready emotionally or financially yet! But it's fun to think about.

I dunno why this crossed my addled mind right now. I was just thinking of a lifetime with Jei and how many joys and challenges are still ahead. 24 is still so young. There's still so much to see and do. Together!

(PS: I'm not broody XD I don't feel like I NEED A BABY RIGHT NOW OMG or anything. It's just one of those future nice-to-think-about scenarios ♥)

Edit: Mmm... leftover pork rissoles... My tummy has a happy :) Bedtime now!

Edit 2: I just noticed that I can screen anonymous comments without screening other people's comments and without preventing anons from commenting altogether O.o How fun! I reserve the right to not have troll-spam in my journal. I win.

There's research being conducted on female-to-female pregnancy where they can create sperm out of one of the partners' bone marrow cells. The creation of sperm from said cells is already possible, but it has yet to be tested in an actual pregnancy situation. You may just be able to have your own children yet. :)

With science as advanced as it is nowadays I expect it's possible for you both to have a child, though I expect the treatment would be pricey, but I'm sure it would be worth it, only problem is the child wouldn't know whether to call you both 'mummy' or just call the carrier mummy and the other...daddy? XD I dunno, best of luck with what you do anyways
