flyboy_foxWah... headaches are no fun n.n; Ever since that migraine I had on Tuesday, this stupid pain over my eyes has never really gone away, and I'm going through Ibuprofen (painkillers) at an incredible rate. Sometimes it'll get better for a bit, then it'll come back with a vengance for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Thanks, headache, I love you too x.x Migraines are supposed to be the curse of the intelligent, right? (Well, I guess there's an exception to every rule n.n;)
This morning was fun o.o In a "this morning was not fun" kinda way. You know. My mom woke me up (albeit at past 10am - I should have been up already XD) in a tizzy because she'd had an accident with the oven in which she'd somehow managed to very nearly slice the tip of her finger off and it was gushing blood and she couldn't open the first aid kit to deal with it n.n;; Eek. It was... not good. She'd managed to very nearly slice the entire tip of her finger off. It was barely hanging on, and it was all purple and gushing blood o.o Just thinking about it makes me squeamish... I have no idea how I managed to stay so cool. Maybe because I just woke up? n.n; Anyway, I managed to help her calm down (she thought she was going to faint), and then I used some surgical strips to close the wound, then helped her dress it with a sterile gauze pad and some medical tape, and then put one of those elasticated bandage tubes over it n.n; Phew. Then spent the next hour trying to convince her to go to the local hospital A&E to get it checked since it might need stitches or glue... but she wouldn't go x.o My mom is very stubborn. It's no wonder I'm that way too ^^; Anyway, she's okay. But it was a NASTY injury... o.o That oven is NOT safe.
Now, I'm trying to think of something positive to write about o.o Anyone who's fairly new to my LJ must probably think I'm a perpetual whiner n.n; I'm not! Really... honestly... I'm normally much more cheerful in my entries. This is just a funk I'm in right now, but it'll be over soon I'm sure :P
