#Foxy on the run, f-foxy!#
Apr. 26th, 2006 07:42 pmSo, as you know, yesterday morning Fara was put to sleep. A couple hours' later I spent the afternoon/night curled up in bed with a migraine. Y'know the drill... disappearing vision, sparkly strands of color flashing even with my eyes closed, hand and tongue going totally numb, inability to speak, nausea... and then the headache of doom. Luckily, my migraines only last a few hours. The headache lingers on for a day or so, but the worst of it's been over since last night. Now I'm just tired ^^; And kinda blank and weird-feeling. It's strange, I haven't cried at all since Fara was put to sleep. I don't feel distraught like I thought I would. Maybe it'll hit me later. Too wiped out by the migraine to feel much right now. I wonder if the stress brought on the migraine? I haven't had one in ages. Oh well.
Fox on the run
You scream, and everybody comes a-runnin'
Take a run and hide yourself away
Foxy on the run
F-foxy!
Yep, more old music. My anti-drug. Yay 70's rock! "F-foxy!" hehe.
I actually don't feel too bad right now. I mean, physically I feel crappy. Migraines always leave me feeling shaky and weak and kinda out-of-it for a day or so, plus the lingering headache... but... emotionally I'm bearing up better than I thought I would, given the circumstances. The only thing that concerns me is the chance of having another migraine attack. I hate them so much ;_; Pfooey on them >P But hopefully it was a one off.
Hm. IE sucks even more since they introduced that 'safety' feature where you have to click on any 'active' content (Flash, Java, etc) before you can use it. Thank goodness for Firefox, eh? :P ::Hugs Firefox::
Nng. I found a coathanger today in my mom's room. I was playing around with it... holding it by the hook and flicking the body to make the arms spin. It then occured to me that I could stick paper tails on the arms and then spin them XD I have no life. ...And for the record, I did not steal the coathanger, and I'm not in the process of sticking paper tails on. Nope. That would be silly. >.> *cough*
Sooo... um... yeah. That's my update. ^^;

Date: 2006-04-26 09:42 pm (UTC)Ya know, you can disable the "click here to allow active content" thingy. Pissed me off to no end until I finally did it. But yeah, Firefox is cool anyway.
Centripetal force combined with the friction between the metal (or plastic) and your finger overcoming Earth's gravitational force at the expense of a negligible ammount of work that your muscles are performing! Woo! Now I wanna start listing equations to compute 2 times the magnitude of the work performed in half a rotation of the coathanger. Gimme Masses! XD Ok, I'll shut up now.
So, how did the paper tails turn out? XD

Date: 2006-04-26 10:03 pm (UTC)So THAT'S what that was! xD; I kept thinking I messed around with something in the Tools that I wasn't supposed to. xD
... I still love IE more anyways. :P In my book, if an explorer can't do something as simple as changing the color of a freakin' scrollbar when another has been doing it for years, that ain't no upgrade, that's a DOWNGRADE.
That and... I've mostly forgotten what popups even are. I already have a pop-up blocker. So there.

Date: 2006-04-26 10:44 pm (UTC)Still working on 'em. They look naff with just white paper, so I'm gonna try to dig out some colored paper. Orange or yellow, and then stick white paper tips on ^^ Too much drag slows them down too fast, so I'll have to experiment.

Date: 2006-04-27 02:10 am (UTC)I found a track called "You're So Foxy" by No Doubt... I'm assuming that's the one you're refering to, and I'm downloading it now :) Thanks again! (You don't know how COOL it is to have friends who appreciate Sontailsness ^___^)

By the way, did you know that if you view the page's source-code, you can get the images' URLs, copy them into the browser, and save them individually, thus bypassing the right-click-lock and preserving the quality? ^^
