Passing.

Following a routine operation, a couple of strokes and a lengthy hospital stay, Jei's grandmother on her father's side passed away in the early hours on Monday (Labor Day). She'd been suffering for a while and passed peacefully. My thoughts are with her husband and family, and of course my precious fiancée. I'm glad that she was able to visit her grandparents in Elmira before coming back to England, and her grandpa may be able to come here next year to see her graduate which would be good. I never met Jei's paternal grandmother, but I did speak with her on the phone and would have liked to meet her. At least she won't suffer any more and her husband can hopefully find peace in that.
