Hello LJ! Boy am I hyped! Valentine's Day was wonderful! ^^

We set out at 8:25am to get the 8:55 coach from outside Bournemouth Uni. The coach was actually really comfy and both Jei and I napped for most of the journey. We got to London Victoria at 11:50am and walked from the coach station to Victoria Train Station for lunch at Yo! Sushi. Neither of us had ever had conveyor belt sushi before, so it was kind of exciting for us.

Me with the sushi belt :)

I look so excited and childlike haha.

Anyway, lunch was awesome. Then we took the Tube to Tottenham Court Road and walked from there to The British Museum. We spent most of the day there, and still didn't manage to see even most of what was on offer! The Egypt and Buddhist-Hinduist parts were the most interesting. Jei took lots of photos of all the cool statues of Shiva, Krishna, Ganesha etc. We both really loved the designs and the stories behind them. We were still up there in the Asia galleries when the security guys started calling for everyone to clear out because it was closing time.

After that, we still had a few hours to burn until our return coach, so we took the Tube to Piccadilly and stopped briefly at The Japan Centre. They're really revamped it since we were last there! The restaurant and food mart areas are huge now, and downstairs is devoted to books. I wanted to pick up some kanji dictionaries, but they're too expensive, so in the end we just ended up buying some Pocky, Pretz and Hi-Chew candy. Oh, and we also stopped by at Gosh!, a comic book store, and picked up a cool alt-cover of the February Final Crisis comic with Nightwing.

Then we went back to the coach station and went back to Bournemouth; another calm and pleasant 3-hour ride. On the way out of London we saw the SEGA offices, all lit up. It was cool because I've been there by invite, and I don't really have many cool places that I can say "hey, I've been there!".

Then we got home around 11:30pm and we ordered out a pizza from Pizza Hut to finish off a really awesome day.

It was just a really great day! Also - thanks everyone who left me a Valentine :) Much appreciated!

As for today, well, Purbeck House has had no running water since Saturday! Reception is giving out 2-litre bottle of water, plus there are emergency water tanks for washing up or cooking with after boiling. We can use a local hotel to take a shower, and there are portable latrines in the courtyard. I hope it gets fixed soon!

Okay, that's all for now. Laters! ^^
