Dream thing
Nov. 5th, 2007 11:26 pmI just feel like sharing a dream I had last night.
It started out there were these two pea-pod things, but they were big and the 'peas' inside were actually eggs and they were hatching. It turned out they were dragon eggs, and the mother dragon was watching them hatch nervously. Some were boys and some were girls, and when there was only one left to hatch, there'd been 13 girls hatched and about 6 boys... so she was praying that the final one would be a girl so that there wouldn't be 13, because 13 of one gender meant that a curse was on them all. But it was a boy and the mother got really distraught and flew into a hysteria and when she snapped out of it, she'd killed all her babies. So in a fit of guilt and heartbreak, she flew off and killed herself. But one baby, a boy dragon, survived and it had a coin embedded in its back that gave it the strength to fly. However, it was dying and the evil wizard, who'd cast the spell, found it. Apparently the coin was something he'd been looking for for a long time. He tore it from the dragon's back and it morphed into a book. And the book was filled with every lie the bad wizard had ever uttered. The reason the land was under his spell was because everyone believed every word he said and couldn't doubt him, because all of his lies and tricks would be sealed in the book, untouchable. But if anyone tore up the book he'd be exposed. And the book had been turned into a coin to 'hide' it. I don't know how that dragon came to have it on its back; maybe he found it... anyway, at that point, the dream kind cut back and it turned out that I was reading the story in this really old-looking tome of short magical stories. And there was another one on the next page, in curvy orange writing (the dragon one was in a berry-purple color), but I felt like this story hadn't properly finished and I wanted to read the end... Then I saw there was another paragraph of text under it, but in reeeeally tiny writing, like it had been hidden as a 'secret', and I knew I'd need a magnifying glass to read it, and I was all frustrated because I didn't have one. And then I woke up.
I think the most disturbing part of the dream was how much the evil wizard looked like Robbie Rotten from LazyTown. ^^;;
