~Grim poodle basher on the 45~

For some reason, I really wish I had a little model aeroplane right now. I used to have these toy 'planes I'd play with when I was little, but they were model airliners, and I don't really care for huge commercial aircraft. Give me a model F-16 Falcon or I-153 Chaika anyday ^^ Aww man... I'd die for a small model jet plane or bi-plane... I could make it fly around my room complete with silly "Nee-aaawww..." sound-effects XD *Does that with a pen* Whooosh... aww, it's not the same... ;_;
Well, I'm slowly settling with the idea that I'll be here alone until at least mid-Friday. It's not what I want, but so far everything's quiet on the storm front, so at least I don't have to be scared (for now). Being here by myself does give me an excuse to totally pig out on Pringles and Jaffa Cakes though XD One small bonus, I guess.
I actually started plotting out the new layout for 'ZoomSwish!' tonight. I've got a Photoshop file with all the dimensions etc for where everything's gonna go, and I've got a vague idea of the colorscheme for the whole page. It was always gonna be yellow and blue, but I've gotta be careful not to make it too garish (or too similar to the Pokémon color scheme ^^;). I've also got most of the pieces I need for the Flash index-page animation - all I need is the revamped lettering, and I'm good to go (*cough*Jei*cough* n.n).
Sooo... Jei was talking to me about her one class at college where she gets to design characters and make... uh... I forget what they're called, but they're 3D physical models that can get mapped onto a computer to create the character meshes used in 3D animation. She's really into it, and she thinks she might wanna do physical character design, and these models, as a career thingy ^^ I'm really happy for her, because she's always wanted to do something art-related, but she never really had an implicit focus until now. It's also really good for me because what I want to do follows on directly from that. I'm following the path to videogame design, and partnering up with Jei would make us an awesome team. With her as the artist and physical character designer, and me taking the model and rendering it into 3D and animating it... we could do some great stuff! I'm more hopeful for the future than I've been in a while, now that we both have goals and they seem to slot together so well ^_^

I FINALLY HAVE MY LEVELS UP ENOUGH TO BUILD A COLONY SHIP. Hah. OGame ^___^ I can colonize other planets now. FEAR MEEEE. Yeah n.n
