Waa... n.n;
Sep. 19th, 2006 09:07 amMan, sorry to anyone I chewed out yesterday... I was stressed, and when I'm stressed I go into total anal-retentive über-righteous mode, and tend to leap down people's throats at the slightest provocation ^^; For example, someone posted the same RPG ad in about 12 different Sonic communities (including ones that have been dead for like a year O.o), and it REALLY bugged me. And then I chewed someone else out rather more harshly than I intended to. I'm sorry. I have a stick up my ass, I know ._.;
Anyway, why am I stressed when Jei is coming to England tomorrow? I shouldn't be. But today I have my first full day of classes at college. And I'm not doing the Childcare course after all. I went along to the first session and... well... I hated it. One of the first things they said was that this year there would be NO written assignments, so anyone with worries about literacy can relax. Maybe I'm the only person in the world who LIKES essay-writing; I was certainly the only person in the room who groaned rather than cheered. But honestly... if preschool staff, who hold children's earliest years and experiences in their hands, aren't expected to be literate... I despair for education as a whole. And this is supposed to be level 3, not 2, so I expected at least a LITTLE hard work. But the class was mainly made up of giggly teenage girls who, sadly, are probably only there because they're not qualified to do anything else. The Education Sector needs to get its act together and raise its standards :\
So what AM I doing? An Access to HE full-time course - Sociology, Psychology, Science, Study Skills, and IT. Today I have Sociology, Study Skills, and IT, and the day starts at 9:30am and ends at 6:00pm. It's a pretty long day for a first full day. Then tomorrow, I have to get to the airport, collect Jei-ji, get home, and then attend double Science in the afternoon @_@ So all in all, these couple of days are set to be a little stressful, if only because I'm out of practice at this full-time school thing ^^;
But anyway... ack... running late and I have no idea how to get to "T3" where my Sociology class is ^^;; The fact that I enrolled late and missed a class already doesn't help... but hey, one class... I can catch up. A multi-exit Access course is a much better option for me anyway... since I don't know what I want to do with my life yet, and hey, that's okay... isn't it? I've gotta stop thinking my life is already halfway over just because I'll be 22 next month n.n;
Anyway, gotta jet! See ya.
