Hehe, I've been kinda unmotivated to update my LJ lately ^^; Whoops. Gonna try to rectify that now.
Well, Tuesday was my mom's birthday and we went out for a meal at La Bella Rosa in Cheam Village. The food there was SO good... ^_^ I had a cannoloni for the main course, and banoffee pie for dessert, plus a couple of rum & cokes for drinks. White rum. Very sweet. Sooo good... but I'll probably never get to eat there again, since we're moving so soon :P Aaanyway, I made a strawberry swiss roll trifle for my mom, and I gave her a 512MB memory stick for her laptop as a gift, which she was very happy with ^^ So, I felt good 'cause I think I gave her a good birthday. She deserves it. She's a good mom n.n
I guess I'll make a confession :\ I still haven't contacted my nephew Sebastian or my half sister Maceci about getting a Green Card. The truth is, I'm absolutely terrified ._. I've never even met my half sister, and I only met my nephew once, over a decade ago. I don't know how they'll receive me if I just contact them outta nowhere asking them to sponsor me for American residency. What makes matters worse is the fact that my dad is on bad terms with Maceci... so I can't even use him as a common link to that side of my family, even though he's Maceci's dad too :\ It all gets very complex where my dad gets involved. Also, I'm not even sure if Maceci is an American citizen... or if Sebastian is... I think he is, but Maceci split up with her American husband, and I'm not sure which parent Sebastian is living with. I have a feeling he might be living with his dad. But I'm not sure if I can be sponsored by my nephew or my half-brother-in-law-who-isn't-even-with-my-half-sister-anymore @_@ It's all such a longshot and I have SUCH a fear of rejection ._.;
Oh, there's something you should know about my half-siblings XD They're druggies, ALL of them. Both of my half brothers have done time for dealing. It's sad, because it just totally plays into that reputation that all Colombians are drug-pushers. When I was in school, if anyone found out I was half Colombiam, I'd get the whole wink-and-rub-thumb-and-fingers-together-in-powder-motion jab EVERY time. Boy, it got old. But sadly, my Colombian siblings seem determined to play the part x.x I expect Maceci's dealt drugs too... she had a drinking problem, that's for sure. As do my half brothers. I can only imagine that the half brother and half sister who died in seperate automobile accidents before I was born were druggies too. My mom said there was always the speculation that at least one of them was driving while high @_@ Heck, if it turns out Maceci has a drugs record, she might not even be able to sponsor me after all x.x Blah. But I gotta get up the guts to try. I have Sebastian's email address... Just gotta get up the guts to write to him.
In brighter news... just one week until my 9-month-delayed bi-plane lesson!! ^____^ Next Saturday! ::Bounces excitedly:: Whoosh! Goodness, I can't wait... ^^ It's finally coming up! (#It's comin' up, it's comin' up, it's comin' up, it's comin' up, it's comin' up, it's comin' up, it's comin' up... it's DARE!# :P). Man, I'm gonna get nervous now after waiting so long XD Dammit, it's exciting!!

fanfic100 claim accepted, after about 3 months of waiting XD I claimed Sonic/Tails, naturally. Table is here and drabble posts will be linked within the table as I do 'em ^^ Hmm, now I've just gotta decide if I'm gonna be organised and work through 'em in order... or disorganised and work through 'em randomly :P I think I'll do them in order, because my brain hurts less that way :P (Also, it avoids the problem of leaving all the worst/hardest prompts 'til last and them losing all motivation to slog through them and finish XD).
Oh, and my Jim Mack character journal was accepted intotheatrical_muse ^_^ So, I have two characters in there now. With that and fanfic100, I have plenty of writing prompts to keep me busy if I get bored, and to keep me in writing practise ^^ Whoohoo!
Man, I'm psyched XD I just hope moving doesn't mess up my internet access for ages x.o I still have my Alcatel Cable Modem, so maybe I can use that... because I will die if I'm cut off from online for more than a day or two ;____;
Well, guess that's it for now! I'm off to stuff my face with chocolate brownies, since this week is exempt from diet rules >D ::Whooshes off to raid the kitchen::
