flyboy_foxFara (my tortoiseshell cat) has been losing weight like crazy and not eating... since the last scare with her weird behaviour, we thought she was okay, but we realized she'd started deteriorating rapidly lately. So we took her to the vet.
She has a huge and aggressive malignant tumour in her stomach. The vet gave her some steroids to help her feel better for the next couple weeks, but after that she'll start to deteriorate again... and eventually she'll just waste away. So, to save her from suffering, Fara will be put to sleep on Tuesday May 9th at 5:30pm.
That gives me two weeks with her before we do the kindest thing for her.
She's only six years old ._.
