flyboy_foxARG. I'm pretty much reaching the end of my tether with Adecco.
The story so far...
Thursday - I call Adecco and speak to "Maggie" about resigning. She says that's fine, but "Caroline" will have to call me back about it. She never did.
Friday - I receive a same-day recorded delivery letter from Adecco stating that I'm AWOL and that I could be fired for this. The letter was sent Friday morning and includes Friday as a day of absence. They apparently have no record of the call I made. I call again and leave a message on Andy's answerphone.
Monday - I still haven't heard back from "Caroline" or Andy. I call Andy again and leave another message.
Tuesday (today) - Still nothing. I begin to wonder if all temp agencies are this infuriating or if I just got (un)lucky.
I'm gonna email them :\ If they 'fire' me for lack of communication... I'm gonna... I dunno. I think I'll kill someone :)
Edit: FINALLY got a call back from Andy. No one at Adecco had told him about my call. He told me I could disregard the letter, and he'll send my P45 out. But jeez... all that trouble. Gah. x.o
