Today is a good day!

My Digimon video-CD box-sets arrived this morning, whoo!

And, Nikki, the con-badges and Sonic hat arrived today also! Thanks soooo much!! They're so cool! You're so cool for getting them for me :D Thanks for the letter, too!

Also, an LJ friend randomly gave me a shout-out in his journal XD Made me grin. Thanks!

And this afternoon my mom meets the Queen of England XD Gah.

The only downside about today is that it's noon on July 20th and it's so overcast (and rainy) that I have to have the light on. That, and it's 13C (55F) O.o Where's my summer?! I should not be COLD at midday in the middle of July ^^; The forecast suggests that it's going to rain ALL weekend, too. Drat.

That sky looks ominous... I hope it won't storm! n.n; *Goes off to find a sweater... seriously... cold!!*

I don't mind rain. Sometimes the occasional heavy downpour is nice. But when it's been raining almost non-stop for about a month... yes, it starts to suck :P

Yeah x_x thank god we didn't get anything that bad though... we literally NEVER get tornadoes around here because we don't live inland. But still... weather can scare the shit out of you! ;_;

Oh lord. Here in Houston it's been raining pretty constantly too. But... that's normal for this place. (It's nicknamed Bayou City! It sits on a swamp!) It's only 77F(I think that's 25C?)here, but it's crazy-humid.

Glad you got the stuff! Exactly ten business days, wow. x_x I may send random letters, because I like to. Whee!

A lot of places near where I live were severely flooded today ^^; Like, 4-foot-deep water, and helicopter evacuations... it's crazy! Luckily there's no major flooding where I am.

I love getting letters ^^ Somehow it just makes LJ-friends even more awesome when there's an element of pen-pals to it too. I dunno... call me old-fashioned but there's something about a handwritten letter that simply can't be replaced by text on a screen.

Also, the little sleepy-Tails doodle at the bottom was adorable XD

I find it funny that you evacuate for four feet of water. XD Around here, that's pretty normal in some low-lying areas. Of course, we are below sealevel and, as I said, built on a swamp.

I love letters too! Email is good, but letters are a lot of fun. And, Tails is definitely the most fun to draw. I'm not sure where I picked up the habit of goggles and extra-fuzzy ears, but it's reached the point where I'm a little thrown when I see art of him without goggles. e.e *loony*
