I got (very very slightly) snarked at for defending Jei on the boards in the staff area ^^; But that can't bring down my mood right now. I feel pretty cheerful. Why? I... dunno really o.o

I joined Friends of the Earth today! I am an official hippie Earth-friend. Mwahaha. I dunno, it just makes me grin... I feel all freedom-fighter-ish for some reason. That whole SatAM vibe, Saturday morning cartoons with their environmental messages, the drive to keep the planet clean, be greener and lower our carbon footprint, every little helps... all of that. I want to hug a tree. I want to hug Sonic and Sally and Bunnie and all the FFs. I want to campaign and recycle and sign petitions and knock on MPs doors until they listen! I want to build a bi-plane that runs off the power of a Chaos Emerald (and is safe XD) so that when I get my wings, I won't be polluting the skies. I want to run in green fields and laugh and be free... I haven't felt this inspired in ages! Now I belong to World Vision, Amnesty International, and Friends of the Earth. But I don't want to just give my money... I want to be hands on! I want to make a difference.

I bought my mom a pair of 7x - 22x zoom binoculars for hiking ^^ Her birthday's tomorrow. I also got her a coffee and walnut cake from the farm shop. She's the best mom in the universe and I hope she'll have a good birthday. I know she's tired and sad lately, but hopefully I can cheer her up at least a little!

I kinda had a pretty bad allergic reaction to those bug bites, so I got some antihistamine tablets and some stronger anti-allergen cream from the chemist while I was in town. I'm so sensitive XD; At least I'm not allergic to grass anymore. Or bubblebath O.o Or... everything ^^; Yeah, I'm a lot better now. But I still kinda react badly to some things, like aloe vera and bug bites.

Mm, the trailer for Sonic Rush Adventure looks great! Some people are bitching and complaining already, but I think it looks fantabulous. They've got the same composer in for the music too, whee! Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is looking pretty nifty, too. Tails is ORANGE again instead of approaching-neon-yellow XD Hallelujah! Fun games to look forward to!

Oh, and I submitted an app to digi_rating (a DigiDestined ratings comm) o.o Lol, Ken results. Dunno what to make of that XD;; Not stamped yet, but 6 unanimous votes, so... yep.

Well, I'm bored O.o over an hour until Jei gets home from her work... bleh! Ah well, dinner and debating with Verte on SSMB will pass the time ^^; She's convinced that Sonic's canonically an equal or better pilot than Tails. I agree that Sonic's a competent pilot, a GOOD pilot even. But I won't agree that he's better than Tails XD I have my pride! (That, and I love arguing ._.)

I agree on Tails being the better pilot. First, it makes more sense, as Tails seems to always have the Tornado in his possession. (You would think the better pilot would be the one handling it; otherwise Sonic would fly on his own and Tails would either take shotgun or use his, well, Tails.) Also, since Tails can fly on his own he'd naturally be more attuned to what's going on in the air. Now, you might argue that Tails is less experienced and more inclined to make beginner's mistakes, but given his performance I'd say he's surpassed Sonic and just needs a little more experience to be the best on the PLANET, just as he only needs a little more experience to truly surpass Eggman. (How many characters are pilots anyway? Sonic, Tails, Rotor, Antoine... we can probably assume that Sally is too, because SatAM tells us that Sally Can Do Everything, so...)

Oh! And congrats on joining FoE! Hope you have lots of fun with it! (I hoard and reuse everything...)

And ya, congrats on the Friends of the Earth thing. This town is not very eco-friendly... while the next town along has like recycle boxes and bins... we don't have anything. o_O;;

Aww... I wanna join something like that Friends of the Earth thing... that so cool! n.n All that hippy-earth awareness stuff is making a comeback and I couldn't be happier!

Anyway, again, I hope your mom is having a good birthday n.n you're so good to her... I know you gave her a great birthday and cheered her up!
