pokemon, pocketmonsters and pokewifi temporarily. I didn't leave any of the communities, just took them off my 'watched' list. Because they're spamming up my Friends Page so badly D: And because Pokémon D/P isn't even out in the UK until God-knows-when (even Australia appears to be getting it before us O.o). And I can't help clicking on "Cut for spoilers!" links, and I'll end up ruining the whole story for myself. There's a new post literally ever 20 minutes or so ^^; So yeah, time to step back for a bit until the furor dies down a bit.
Anyway, yesterday was interesting. 12 - 3, I manned the phones at Pamela Neave Employment Group, dialing up students and asking if they're still looking for work (the irony was not lost on me), then 3 - 6 (after hanging around in town for 3 hours) I was on Kitchen Porter duty in the College's restaurant. Washing and stacking dishes. Joooooy. Actually, it was the job from heck... the kitchen was like a sauna, everything was BURNING HOT, and by the time I escaped I had the headache from hell. But hey... 6 hours + £6ph = £36 :D
Still looking for proper work. I signed on for JSA, which I think works out at about £45 per week. But I'm totally not gonna just sit on my arse thriving on benefits. I need cash to help my mom out; she's working two jobs to make ends meet and it's really taking its toll. I need proper work. But hey, I'm applying for stuff left, right and centre, so hopefully even in this low-employment-rate dry well of a town I'll be able to find something.
So... anyone who isn't a member of =SSMB= (=The Sonic Stadium='s forum) needs to join, like, now >/ (And just ignore the guy/gal who's all "If you support Sonic characters in pairings, especially yaoi/yuri which is disgusting anyway, YOU ARE DISRESPECTING THEM AND YOU SHOULD BURN IN HELL FOR TWISTING THEM LIKE THAT YOU SICK SICK PEOPLE!!" ... ._.; I hate fandom-nazis.) But yeah. =SSMB= is for the most part a pretty cool forum ^^ I like it there.
And I dare anyone to tell me that the lyrics to Sonic Rush's 'Ethno Circus' track aren't "Taco taco wheat taco max smack face. Drop a weak weak cat on my face" >.>; THEY SO ARE.
