I don't have your postal adress, and even though some of your friends perhaps do have it, I thought you might be interested in posting a friends only (perhaps filtered for those friends you truly trust) with the qeustion if anyone is interested in trading postal adresses. Ofcourse screen the comments for not everyone has to see :)
If you feel particurlary social you could even do some kind of "christmas card" deal exchanging holiday cards as another friend of me does every year. (and to which I gladly attend :) )
If anything I wouldn't be too troubled sending a card, even though I live outside the UK it's not too costly and I already send a card every year as mentioned above.
Just in short, if you feel you can trust certain online only friends enough to exhange your postal adress you might be able to get at least that little extra birthday feeling in some way ^^
